Honouring ANZAC Day at Gosford RSL: A Day of Remembrance and Commemoration
As the nation pauses to remember the sacrifices and bravery of our servicemen and women, Gosford RSL stands as a bastion of respect and remembrance this ANZAC Day. Here’s a glimpse into the day’s activities:
Dawn Service:
- 5:30 am: Departure from Gosford RSL Club foyer to Cenotaph.
- 6:15 am: Return from Cenotaph to Club.
- Attendees of the Dawn Service can avail themselves of a hearty breakfast at the club from 6:15 am until 7:30 am, with breakfast tickets available for a gold coin donation.
ANZAC Day Service:
- Date: Thursday, 25th April 2024.
- 5:45 am: Assemble near Gosford Police Station.
- 5:46 am: March off to Cenotaph.
- 6:00 am: Dawn Service to commence.
Main March and Service:
- 10:00 am: Assemble in Donnison Street, next to Kibble Park.
- 10:15 am: Fall In.
- 10:30 am: March along Mann Street.
- 11:00 am: Service at Cenotaph. The courtesy coach departs the Cenotaph for Gosford RSL Club after the Main Service for attendees of the March.
Courtesy Coach Services:
- Timings: Departures from Gosford RSL Club foyer at 9:00 am and 11:30 am.
- Booking: Essential. Contact Gosford RSL Club Reception at 4323 2311.
Two-Up:
- Time: Two-Up will be played from 1:30 pm.
Club Trading Hours:
- The club premises will open at 6:00 am for Dawn Service participants and close at management’s discretion.
