Central Coast Clubs gets wheels in motion

ClubsNSW Central Coast Region want to say thank you to all our 36 Clubs of the Central Coast Region – $80,000 was raised for Regional Youth Services – RYSS.

RYSS was able to purchase “Rosa” the bus who is now contributing to the Central Coast Regional Youth to be mobile and present in areas of need, providing connection and care in homelessness, guidance and a presence where it is needed the most when requested by local police to crisis areas.

A spokesperson for RYSS said, “We are so grateful to be the beneficiaries of the Itty Bitty Fundraiser which raised $80k so we could purchase this fantastic resource to transport young people and provide community outreach in Central Coast schools and community events.”

The fundraising efforts of the Clubs of the NSW Central Coast Region began in 2021, unfortunately the COVID lockdowns meant fundraising had to pause, however knowing the generosity of the clubs of the Central Coast, this was NOT going to hamper efforts to reach the fundraising goal set to assist RYSS.

Through community engagement, and two incredible activities – the ClubsNSW Central Coast Region Golf Day and ClubNSW Central Coast Region Race Day at Wyong Race club and Function Center, the goal was achieved!

The bus was recently presented to RYSS at a breakfast event at Mingara and we think you’ll agree it “Rosa” the bus is one of a kind.

Our congratulations to all involved with the  fundraising efforts during an incredibly tough year. Your commitment to community is unparalleled.
