CENTRAL COAST SHINES AT AWARDS

Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch has congratulated Surf Life Saving Central Coast on being awarded Surf Life Saving Branch of the Year 2022/23 at the Surf Life Saving NSW Awards of Excellence.

Nearly 500 volunteer lifesavers attended Surf Life Saving NSW’s 2023 Awards of Excellence night, where lifesavers and surf clubs were recognised for their commitment and contributions to their surf clubs.

“I want to offer my sincerest congratulations to Surf Life Saving Central Coast for achieving this award, a clear testament to the Surf Life Saving Central Coast’s dedication to our community and our beaches.”

Mr Crouch said that Surf Life Saving Central Coast have made outstanding progress over the past years in improving local surf clubs and can hold their heads high in pride in being recognised by Surf Life Saving NSW.

“Year after year we see our local surf clubs growing larger than ever before, and this is due in part to Surf Life Saving Central Coast’s dedication to our local clubs.”

Mr Crouch also recognised Ocean Beach SLSC for being named as the recipient of the Innovation Award.

“I also want to extend my congratulations to the volunteers at Ocean Beach SLSC in being the recipients of Surf Life Saving’s Innovation Award, for their “Taking it to the Beach” community education program.”

As Coasties, we can all agree that the SLSC community play a critical role, not just during summer, but all year round. Keeping our beaches safe, training members and ultimately looking out for locals and visitors to our beautiful beaches.

It’s no surprise, that CENTRAL COAST SHINES AT AWARDS!
