Coronavirus and events on the Coast

To the Central Coast Community,

I’m only too aware of the impact Coronavirus is having on the events industry.
Given the announcement today relating to large gatherings and Coronavirus, we’re here to help.

At the time of writing, there has been ONE identified case of Coronavirus on the Central Coast.

Following the advice from the Department of Health and the Chief Medical Officer that all “non-essential” mass gatherings of more than 500 people should be banned from Monday (16/03/2020), this will no doubt affect events here on the Coast.

So, how will Central Coast Chronicle help?

We’re here to keep the community informed with event details via our website.

We’ll be updating our website and using our social media pages.

Additionally, we’re going to be sharing details of ALL other community focused events that will be cancelled, postponed or under consideration due to Coronavirus for rescheduling at NO CHARGE.  The organisers of these events do NOT need to be a member of the Chronicle at this time.

We will have a dedicated post on our website and again share these details through our social channels.

If you know of a business (or you are indeed THAT business) that will be changing their event plans and needs assistance in getting the word out there, please let them know about our offer.

Please send all event updates here.

Sincerely,
Brooke
