The brand new, interactive, and exciting Mangrove Creek Dam Visitor Centre will play host to the Dam Day Out event as part of Harvest Festival 2024. The event will allow the community to undertake breath taking views of the Central Coast’s largest dam while being besotted by the beautiful flora and fauna that occupy the area. Keep the kids entertained with a live theatre performance ‘Walter Smart’ from local company Gibber or hone your water-wise gardening skills with a free workshop on wicking beds and other water resilient gardening techniques. Council teams will offer educational resources and a food truck will be set up on the site to ensure no one goes hungry. Get the fam to the dam!
