Reclaim the Night: A Festival for Safety and Empowerment
Central Coast Domestic Violence Committee is proud to announce the return of Reclaim the Night, a non-ticketed, drug and alcohol-free festival advocating for the right for women and children to be safe wherever they are. This empowering event will take place on Friday, October 18th, and promises a night filled with music, entertainment, and community spirit.

5:30 PM: Street March to Memorial Park with drummers (Participants should arrive at 5:20 PM at The Entrance Police Station)

5:45 PM: Smoking Ceremony by Girri Girra followed by an inspiring panel of guest speakers
Evening Highlights:

Live music from local artists, including the talented Ella Powell and Pati Telea

Fire twirling and drumming performances

Market stalls with food trucks

Face painting

Resource tent offering information and support
•
Amusement rides, including a Ferris Wheel, Dodgem Cars, Cup & Saucer, and Bungee Trampolines

The event will be headlined by The Little Quirks, a dynamic folk-pop band known for their catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics. They have performed at some of Australia’s most prestigious music festivals and venues, including Splendour in the Grass, Woodford Folk Festival, Byron Bay Blues Festival, and The Factory Theatre. Their music has been praised for its youthful exuberance and authenticity, making them a standout act in the Australian music scene.
8:55 PM: The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display.
