Fighting Food Insecurity – The Heartland Foundation’s Mobile Pantry

When they visit near Wyong Leagues they’re Located at the Community Hall next to the netball courts near Wyong Leagues Club, the Heartland Foundation’s mobile pantry operates every two weeks, providing a vital lifeline for individuals and families. This initiative is a testament to the power of community collaboration, relying on the generosity of organisations like Foodbank Australia and SecondBite. These partnerships ensure a consistent supply of essential food items, including fresh produce and baked goods.

They’ll be at Community Hall on the following dates:

Sunday 16 Feb 10am – 12pm

Sunday 2 March 10am – 12pm

A dedicated team of volunteers is the driving force behind the mobile pantry’s success. Their tireless efforts are crucial in sorting, packing, and distributing the food hampers.

These hampers are thoughtfully curated to include a variety of nutritious options, from vibrant vegetables and juicy fruits to freshly baked bread, frozen and chilled items, and even essential non-food items.
