French Country Market Returns to Kariong
After a two-year absence, the much-loved French Country Market returns on October 12th. Held at Kariong Public School, the market promises a day filled with shopping, delicious food, and a delightful French atmosphere.
A Feast for the Senses
The market will feature various stalls, offering something for everyone. From antiques and vintage homeware to French soaps, tablecloths, and gourmet foods like cheeses, olives, saucisson, truffles, pastries, and gelato, there will be plenty to tempt your taste buds and your shopping desires.
A Touch of French Charm
The organizers aim to recreate the charming atmosphere of a French country market, providing a unique and enjoyable experience for visitors. Expect to be transported to a quaint French village as you browse the stalls and savour the delicious treats.
Practical Information
- Entry: A gold coin donation is required at the gate. Children are free with adults.
- Parking: Street parking is available around the area, and there is a disabled drop zone at the front of the school.
- Payments: Please bring cash, as not all stall holders have Eftpos machines. An ATM is located at the Ampol, which is within walking distance.

The market is accessible to people with disabilities. However, there are no special accommodations or facilities available.
