Gosford Race Club Backs Local Talent for Equimillion

Gosford Race Club is thrilled to announce its continued support of the Equimillion competition, offering three $1,000 sponsorships to local riders.

This prestigious event, showcasing the versatility of retired racehorses, returns for its second year, offering a platform for riders to compete in dressage, show jumping, eventing, and show horse disciplines. New for 2024, the Equimillion New Star Thoroughbred Classes (ENST) waive nomination and entry fees for recently retired thoroughbreds.

To be eligible for a Gosford Race Club sponsorship, applicants must have a strong connection to the local racing industry.This includes riding trackwork, working for a Gosford trainer, or owning a racehorse with a Gosford history.

Applications are now open, with successful riders to be announced on August 30th.
