INFRASTRUCTURE GRANTS NOW OPEN
Have you ever dreamed of a revamped art gallery, or are you part of Progress Association whose facilities are in need of updating? Well, dream no more! The Infrastructure Grants program is back for 2024/25, and it’s handing out cash to eligible organisations across New South Wales.
Think of this as your chance to score some serious funding for projects that make your local community tick. Here’s the details:
- Cash for Your Cause: There’s a whopping $12.75 million up for grabs, divided into four categories: sport and recreation, arts and culture, disaster readiness, and community infrastructure.
- From Playgrounds to Museums: Got a brilliant idea to upgrade your local sporting facilities, breathe life into an art space, or make the community better prepared for emergencies? This grant program can help shoulder the cost, with funding ranging from $50,000 to $300,000 depending on the project.
- Locals Apply Here: Whether you’re a council or a not-for-profit organisation, if you’re making a positive impact on your community, you’re in the running!
This is all thanks to the Clubgrants Category 3 Fund, a pretty awesome initiative that puts profits from registered clubs’ gaming machines back into good use. Basically, it’s win-win for everyone: clubs raise funds, communities benefit, and everyone gets to enjoy fantastic local facilities.
Thinking of applying? The clock’s ticking! Applications for the first round close on July 22nd, 2024. Don’t worry if you miss the deadline though, there’s another round opening on November 4th, 2024. Head over to NSW Government website to get all the details and get that application rolling.
So, what are you waiting for? Grab this opportunity to make your local community even stronger and more vibrant. The future’s looking bright, thanks to the Infrastructure Grants program!
Our thanks to Adam Crouch for the information.
