Local sculpture artist brings joy to the Coast

Wondering What’s on Central Coast?

Well we’re here with some ideas!

If you haven’t heard of sculpture artist Peter Rush, it’s a name you really should Google! His creations on various Central Coast beaches have stunned locals and visitors alike.

Peter’s newest creation is yet another example of his incredible talent. This time he’s created a stunning sculpture of a retired draft horse at Spoon Bay out of driftwood and seaweed.

It’s a brilliant way to get outdoors with the family and explore our fabulous beaches, and be impressed by local talent.

While you’re in the area, we highly recommend a stop to Wambie Whoppers – a Coast institution (if ever there was one!) you may even want to grab a couple of burgers before heading down to inspect the sculpture and making your visit a bit of a picnic.

The draft horse is located in the same spot as Pete’s sculpture of Arlo the Collie Dog (Google that one too!!!) about halfway between Wamberal and Spoon Bay.
