Messy Sensory Play at Gosford RSL
At Gosford RSL Club, there’s a pop up messy play session provided by Messy Little Munchkins
For those who aren’t quite sure what messy play is, it’s the open-ended exploration that allows children to use their natural curiosity and engage their senses.
Messy play fosters curiosity, imagination and exploration and it practices good concentration and nurtures future skills such as fine motor skills and it encourages communication and language development. So as you can see, it’s more than mucking around and getting messy!
When you attend the pop up messy play session provided by Messy Little Munchkins, each child will receive an individual messy play for them to explore, scoop, touch and smell. Followed with a craft and play dough station too!
You can finish off your session with a play in mini-mania at Gosford RSL.
Messy Little Munchkins host the messy play on Wednesday’s 10-11am during school term. The sessions are suitable for ages 1 – 5 years.
Each week will have a different theme – you don’t have to dress up though! It’s just to allow the children more creativity.
Oh and it’s highly recommended that you bring a change of clothes for you and your little one, plus wet wipes and towel. In case you and your munchkins get very messy!
And the Messy Little Munchkins team try to only use taste safe items during messy play. Some set ups may include items that they do not recommend to taste or eat, such as mud, shaving cream, etc, they are not very tasty.
The cost is $16/child and booking is essential
