Slice of heaven on the Coast

We’ve compiled a list of our favourite places to find a slice of heaven on the Coast!

Now what classifies as a slice of heaven, today – well, we’re talking all things baked goods. Those fresh out of the oven treats that make your mouth water just thinking of them.

All in the name of research we’ve scoured from one end of the Coast to the other to bring you this list!

Lamington – Has to be Saddles at Mt White. It’s what I order when I meet friends from Sydney for them to enjoy there or take-home. Either way, it guarantees a return visit.

For an Italian treat that is like no other – Nonna’s Plate Central Coast has you covered. In 2021, they helped my family celebrate a couple of birthdays with incredible success. Make sure you check them out!

Danishes – Has to be any one of the Bouffant venues. My reward after a weekend walk between Ettalong and Ocean Beach? A stroll down to the Bouffant at Umina… I’ll work it off on the walk back… 😉

Cherry Pie – Ken’s Humble Pies at The Entrance is a clear winner. I have a confession to make, I hadn’t been to Ken’s until last year, it had been on my “to-visit” list, but now that I know about this Slice of heaven on the Coast, it’s now a regular on my list!

For the best Cronut, you can’t go past Green Tangerine at Long Jetty. After a breakfast catch-up with friends, I always pre-order one (so it’s ready for when I leave)

And finally, a beautiful Pasteis de Nata aka – Portuguese Tart from Burnt Honey Bakery. If you haven’t visited this gem, make sure you add it to your “holiday-to-do” list.

Tell me where your favourite places are to grab a sweet treat on our Instagram or tag us in your pictures so we can share them! We’d love to see what you’re indulging in!
