We know that this Easter will be difficult for a lot of us for a myriad of reasons. But, we’ve created a list of things to do AT HOME this long weekend to ensure your Easter one of the “Hoppiest”!
We are being reminded to STAY HOME this Easter, Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast and Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch is calling for tourists to stay away and not visit the Central Coast region.
“The Easter school holiday period is normally one of the busiest times of the year, but this year I’m asking people to stay at home,” Mr Crouch said.
“If you are on the Central Coast right now but your home address is not a Central Coast suburb, please go home.”
Tourists need to go home and stay home.
“The restrictions on travel may be tough for some but they are necessary to keep people in our community healthy and alive.”
Mr Crouch said penalties included $11,000 or six months jail for individuals and $55,000 for corporations. Anonymous reports can be made to Crime Stoppers online at https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au or by calling 1800 333 000.
“The only reasons to leave home are shopping for essentials, medical care, exercise or essential work and study commitments.”

Of course, you’ll be wanting to look good for those online catch-ups or Skype interviews and Alira Hair at Hardy’s Bay has your haircare needs covered. Owner Leah has said, if you’re desperate for a treatment, “Conditioner can work, but it’s not quite as intensive as a treatment package. All you have to do is leave your conditioner of choice on wet hair, dampen a hand towel and warm the towel up in the microwave (only briefly) and pop it on your head with the conditioner combed through. Leave until the towel has cooled.
“Alternatively, you can put a shower cap on over the conditioner and leave it on for a good 20 minutes, then rinse, probably best to do this once everyone has gone to bed to avoid the comments from other family members!”
Alira Hair do have essential oil blends that can be added to the conditioner for extra nourishment, contact Alira Hair on Facebook to organise a time to collect product and view their range of beautiful accessories clothing and shoes (pictured below). No hair services are available at this time.
