The new Gosford RSL now open

The new Gosford RSL now open – To say that the new Gosford RSL clubhouse is a landmark destination is putting it lightly.

The Coast’s newest venue to open (or reopen) is magnificent. Following a $50 million development and two years of construction, the RSL club is setting the benchmark for other venues on the Coast.

The 3-storey superclub will house a brand-new experiential dining precinct with five diverse culinary offerings, recreational spaces, a state-of-the-art conference and events centre, a sports bar, an on-site brewery, and an RSL museum under one roof. The noteworthy project was a collaborative partnership between the club, local contractor North Construction & Building, WMK Architecture and The APP Group.

The ground floor offers a grand entrance experience. Trust us, you’ll genuinely be saying “WOW” when you enter the club, with its impressive foyer and porte-cochere entry leading visitors into the reception, servicing both the RSL and the adjoining motel and a new RSL museum. This museum, an initiative of the Gosford RSL Sub Branch, commemorates the service members from the region and their contributions to Australia, spanning from the Boer War(s) to more recent conflicts.

Diners can choose from five culinary adventures including modern Australian, Asian fusion, and Argentinian grill, alongside wood-fired pizzas and a café. Helmed by Executive Chef Simon Quick (previously Executive Chef at Crowne PlazaHotel, Terrigal).

With the new club now operational and patrons enjoying the new spaces, the existing RSL Club, which remained operational throughout construction, will be demolished to establish an additional 154 car parking spaces to accommodate the expected increase in patron numbers.

The club will continue to support the Gosford RSL Sub Branch and is very proud of the heritage and history connected to the institution and the work done to assist and support Diggers past and present.

Never wavering from its past, Gosford RSL will continue to provide a place for returned servicemen and women to meet. The RSL brand has always been a symbol of respect and honesty within the community.
