A beer fitting for the Coast

If there’s ever been a beverage fitting for the Coast – it’s Gosford RSL’s Mariner Pale Ale.

In case you didn’t know, Gosford RSL brews a selection of its beers. Any what’s even better is that they’re AWARD WINNING!

Gosford RSL Club’s brewery Oak Haven has recently been awarded 2 gold and 2 bronze medals in the 2023 Australian International Beer Awards. The Awards are the largest annual beer competition in the world judging both draught and packaged beer, as well as beer packaging design. In 2022, the Awards attracted over 2,600 entries from more than 350 breweries in 20 countries!

Oak Haven took home the gold for Sly Grog (Pale Ale) and Rusty Sail (Mid) as well as the bronze for Dr. Paul’s Pils (Bohemian Pilsner) and Bolthole (Porter style Dark Ale).

It’s quite the achievement and one we should be very proud of on the Coast. The beers are brewed in-house for peak freshness and contain no preservatives, use the highest quality hops & locally sourced produce and are brewed for our members & available on tap at Gosford RSL

The current featured beer from Oak Haven is the Mariner Pale Ale.

Given the incredible result of our Central Coast Mariners – winning the A-League Grand FINAL – it seems fitting. This beer sets sail to a soft, swirling cloud of malted wheat, ale and specialty malts; dry-hopping adds a second phase of haze, propping up the fruity Galaxy hops.

They have a selection of other beers on tap including a “Rusty Sail”, “Dr Paul’s Pils”  and “The Bolthouse” which is a porter style beer along with featured beers which change regularly. So pop in to Gosford RSL and try a beer from the Oak Haven range – A beer fitting for the Coast.

You can try a tasting paddle from just $11 (members) or take home a new favourite in a growler.
